Today Derek turns two years old. He had a party at Gymboree with all of his friends. It was a great day and Derek really enjoyed it. He is doing very well. He is speaking in sentences for the most part, knows his colors, and can count from 1 to 10. He shows interest in potty training, but I am sure we are months away. We hope to transition to a big boy bed soon, but we'll follow his lead. He is a happy boy and we are lucky to have him in our family.
